Decorate your bike and ride in the america250 parade

Get ready to roll into one of the most exciting moments of Beaver County’s America250 Celebration! Decorate your bike and invites school-aged children to be part of the big parade in a fun, creative, and unforgettable way! This is more than just a ride, it’s a chance for kids to express their creativity, show off their patriotic pride, and be part of a once-in-a-generation celebration honoring 250 years of America!

How it Works

Kids are encouraged to decorate their bikes at home using reds, whites, and blues, and other patriotic themes relating to America, and then bring the decorated bikes to the parade on Saturday, September 19th. Participants can show up the day of the parade and ride their bikes with a guardian, joining other young riders adding color and excitement to the parade route!

No registration is required, just decorate, show up, and ride!

Not sure where to start? Here are some fun and easy ideas to turn any bike into a parade-worthy masterpiece:

  • Streamers in reds, whites, and blues flowing from the handlebars

  • American flags (small and securely attached)

  • Star-shaped cutouts

  • Tinsel or metallic fringe for sparkle and movement

Creative themes
