Beaver County America250 Grant Program

Administered and reviewed by Beaver County Recreation & Tourism, the America250 Beaver County Committee, and the Beaver County Board of Commissioners.

Beaver County proudly supports municipalities and organizations in creating events, programs, and projects that commemorate the United States’ 250th anniversary. These funded initiatives highlight community pride, creativity, heritage, and civic engagement. The America250 Beaver County Grant Program empowers these groups throughout the County to bring history, culture, and community celebration to life during this once-in-a-generation milestone.

From festivals and public art, to heritage programs and community gatherings, these projects help shape Beaver County’s Semiquincentennial celebration while enhancing local experiences for residents and visitors alike.

The following municipalities and organizations were selected through a competitive application process. Each funded project advances the goals of America250 by celebrating heritage, strengthening community identity, and creating meaningful local experiences. These initiatives contribute to community vibrancy while supporting local tourism, small businesses, and regional visibility throughout Beaver County.
