On February 24, community leaders, residents, and partners gathered at the Beaver County Courthouse for an inspiring America250PA Kickoff Rally, a moment that officially launched local excitement for the United States’ 250th anniversary. Despite the winter chill, the atmosphere was anything but cold. Waving flags and dressed in red, white, and blue fashion, attendees came together to celebrate not just a milestone in American history, but Beaver County’s role in shaping the Commonwealth and the nation.

The rally remarks from key regional leaders who underscored the significance of the semiquincentennial and the opportunities it presents for communities across Pennsylvania. Tony Caltury, Director of Recreation & Tourism opened the program by emphasizing the power of America250 to unite residents through shared heritage, civic pride, and forward-looking investment. State legislators Roman Kozack and Robert Matzie spoke with reflections on PA’s historic legacy and Beaver County’s contributions, highlighting themes of resilience, innovation, and community strength.
